Our Mission
The mission of the Citizen Patrol Coalition (CPC) of Topeka-Shawnee County is to bring together motivated citizens to assist Law Enforcement in their fight against neighborhood crime. We will develop partnerships with law enforcement, City and County government, religious organizations, community groups, and civic organizations to educate these citizens to the unique problems of their neighborhoods, and to increase communications and participation in the formation of Citizen Patrols. The desired effect of Citizen Patrol is to increase the cooperation of private citizens with law enforcement to observe, record, and report suspicious activities to reduce crime throughout the greater Topeka-Shawnee County area.
